Refund Policy

We are so sure you will be totally satsified with our course, we offer a 7-day in-home trial period for you to look the course over. If for any reason you are dissatisfied, you may return the course and we will issue a refund. There will be no questions asked and you will receive a refund within 30 days following receipt of the returned course. Please see full refund policy guidelines below.

Refund Guidelines

Shipping/handling charges will not be refunded under any circumstance.
Course materials/equipment must be received in the same new condition as shipped. No refund will be issued should any portion of the course be missing, used, damaged, or written in. If this occurs, the course materials/equipment will be returned to you and you will be charged for the materials portion of the course. You will then only be refunded the tuition charge for the course as noted below minus shipping/handling charges to return the course back to you.

In the event you used a credit or debit card to enroll, a 10% credit card fee will be deducted from your refund along with a 10% restocking fee. We are charged by the merchant bank a fee to process your card and therefore, you would be responsible for that fee. Please allow 30 days for refunds to be processed. We highly recommend you insure your package upon return to CAI as we will not be responsible for any lost or damaged packages.

Tuition Refund Policy - Pay In Full Only

Tuition is derived after the following is deducted: Material/Equipment cost, shipping/handling fee, processing fees if applicable, and any administration fees if applicable.

The current base tuition fee is: $600.00

Pro-rated tuition refund policy is as follows (student retains all materials/equipment):
Within 15 days of enrollment - 15% refund of base tuition fee.
Within 30 days of enrollment - 10% refund of base tuition fee.
After 30 days of enrollment - CAI retains full base tuition fee.

NJ STUDENTS ONLY: NJ students will receive a full refund minus registration/application fees, s/h fees, and 10% processing fee is paid by credit card within 7 days of the original enrollment date. After 7 days, full cost of equipment/books will be deducted. After 7 day's time, base tuition as noted above will be pro-rated as follows: Within 30 days from the date of original enrollment, CAI will retain 50% of base tuition, within 45 days, CAI will retain 70% of base tuition, and after 45 days, CAI will retain full base tuition. In the event of an unannounced school closure, students enrolled at the time of the closure must contact the Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s Training Evaluation Unit within ninety (90) calendar days of the closure. Failure to do so within the ninety (90) days may exclude the student from any available form of assistance. The contact number to call is (609) 292-4287.

Transcriber equipment is backed by a 90-day warranty through the school. If you have a problem within that time frame, please contact us and we will be happy to make an exchange for you if the problem cannot be resolved.
